So thankful for the fun and eventful days that are behind me. I am also thankful that as of today it seems like this week will slow down a bit.
There was major doubt around this pumpkin idea but in the end it turned out.
Fun times at the Block and White charity event.
The Miller Thriller halloween party is never a let down.
My meditation for the week:
“I pray because I...

I hate to even say this but I have zero reference for the designer of the room. If you are the designer and see this post please message me and I will put your name all over it!
1. Headboard from Ballard Designs.
2. Mirror found at Z Gallerie.
3. Side tables found at Wisteria. I branched off quite a bit from the original but I think it works!
4. Bedding from Dwell Studios.

Jonathan Adler is Amazing
If you keep up with the names in interior design, you are probably familiar with Jonathan Adler. I am completely in love with a few of his pieces right now and am dying to try them in one of my upcoming designs. I am currently working on a project where the budget doesn’t exactly allow for a JA coffee table so I attempted to create my own version (pictured last.) No version will come close...

If I am being really honest I have had a hard time with this week’s Manic Monday gratitude post. Mainly, because all last week and most of this weekend I have been working non-stop. Then came the bracing reality check. I have work, which is a huge blessing in and of itself. Not only do I have work but I work with some of the most creative people in Nashville. Here are a few things I...

Wow! That is the word that comes to mind when I take a moment to think about the amazing moments from last week/weekend.
I had the incredible pleasure to go and hear Katie Davis speak about her life in Uganda. As I stood in a circle of 5 people praying with her before she took the stage, I was humbled beyond words. I can’t do justice to her story in a sentence or two but I will try. At...

Riding with the windows down with this beautiful skyline over head.
My meditation for the week:
“We must lay before Him what is in us, not what ought to be in us.” - C.S. LEWIS
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand,...

I am off to a hectic start! So I am going to quickly jot down what my meditation will be for this week because lord knows I will need it.
WHEN MANY THINGS SEEM to be going wrong, trust Me. When your life feels increasingly out of control, thank Me. These are supernatural responses, and they can lift you above your circumstances. If you do what comes naturally in the face of difficulties,...

Mary McDonald...oh how I love thee!
I could write for days about my obsession with Mary McDonald. She knows who she is and what she likes and she does not waiver from that. Her natural ability to use so many different layers in one space and yet pull off symmetry and balance is mind blowing. Love, love, love her!
