Some of the struggles that I have been facing over the last few months have produced so many great things. But how do you sit down to type this “thankful” post and literally write the sentence, I am thankful for my struggles. It sounds ridiculous. A few months ago I could never imagine thinking much less writing that sentence. However, without going through those times that push me to look at myself and take action, my life would be mediocre at best. The greatest thing about having no choice other than relying on prayer/God (you get the point) is that you get to see hopeless situations come back to life. And if they don’t you get to experience peace that you know comes from something bigger than yourself. So, I am thankful for my struggles.
Challenge:
When you leave one struggle you know another is around the corner so I am challenging myself in the “happy times” to be just as devoted to prayer as I was when I didn’t feel as self reliant.
Hopefully, this doesn’t come across as a cheesy christian post!!! But if it does well you have already read it:)
Highlights of my week:
After almost 6 months of prep for this charity event it was a success!

Friends engagement party!!

Steeplechase 2012…always a blast!

Meditation for the week:
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
